Chennai is the fourth metropolitan city of India and is the capital of Tamil Nadu state. It is the biggest industrial and commercial center in South India. Chennai is located on the coastal plains known as ‘Eastern Coastal Plains’. The city has a tropical wet and dry climate. The best time to visit Chennai is from October to January.
