Bangalore these days known as Bengaluru is the capital of Karnataka. The city experiences pleasant climate throughout the year. Bangalore is well connected with road, railways and airways services. Bangalore was ruled by the Chola dynasty & Hoysala Dynasty until 15th century. In 16th century Marathas conquered the city .The British took hold of the city and returned it to maharaja of Mysore. In 1947 Bangalore became the capital of Mysore state which was later known as modern day Karnataka. Various institutes of learning are in Bangalore to name a few IIM, IISC, NIMHANS are institutions of a great repute. The city’s moderate climate makes it an all weather tourist destination.
